"The New York Synagogue Choir" led by Izchak Haimov is all-male vocal ensemble specializing in Jewish liturgical and folk music. "The New York Synagogue Choir" founded in 2004 by conductor Izchak Haimov. The choir provides cantorial choral services at the New York and Hampton synagogues.
The group had performed with great success to a variety of audiences in many concert halls and festivals.
With some of Americas finest singers, the New York Synagogue Choir (Russian: Нью-Йоркский синагогальный хор) is considered to be one of the most important vocal ensembles in the Jewish world. Most of the choir members have operatic careers of their own.
The repertoire consists of Jewish liturgical music, Hebrew, Yiddish, Latino, Russian, Italian, French, Spainish songs, Broadway, Opera and classical pieces.
