Musicians Leonid Bruk (balalaika-contrabass ), Elina Karokhina (balalaika ), Alexandre Tseytlin (violin), Mikhail Smirnov (garmoshka , guitar), singer Alexander Menshikov , and singer Irina Zagornova entertained during the New Jersey Nets VIP reception. The guest list included NETS owner (Mikhail Prokhorov), the Russian Ambassador to the UN (H.E. Vitaly Ivanovich Churkin), and the Russian Consul General (Honorable Andrey Konstantinovich Yushmanov).
