As opposed to other European countries, Russia chose a different method of communication with the Roma people. As much as the Theatre Romen served one state ideology, it also served the Roma people. The Kolpakov Trio

Aleksander Kolpakov, the group's director, was born in 1943 in the district of Orienburg in Eastern Russia.
