Russian, Cossack, Ukrainian, Tatar, Gypsy, Moldavian, Jewish dancer Maksim is a member of ensemble Barynya based in Brooklyn, New York. His first performance with the company took place on Saturday May 25th, and Sunday May 26th, 2019 during big "Troika Festival" in Erie, Pennsylvania. International Society's 100 Year Anniversary Party in Howell, Michigan
Dancers and musicians of Barynya ensemble provided one hour concert that included Russian, Cossack, Ukrainian, Tatar, Russian Gypsy Roma, Moldavian, Jewish Bottle Dancers, live performances on Balalaika and Garmoshka during International Society's 100 Year Anniversary party in Howell, Michigan . Ensemble Barynya cast included Alisa Egorova (dancer), Serhiy Tsyganok (dancer), Konstantin Tulinov (dancer), Maxim Al Names (dancer), balalaika virtuoso Elina Karokhina , and Russian ethnomusicologist, folk singer, garmoshka (Russian folk button accordion) player Mikhail Smirnov who led the performance by giving a short explanation of every number of the program in English.
